It was all a dream...

Last night I had a great dream, I was at WW standing on the scale and I saw my goal weight pop up on the screen. It was extremely exciting! I think I was most excited that I wouldn't have to pay anymore. Even though I'm not there yet it was really encouraging to visualize myself at goal and seeing those magical numbers pop up on the scale. I can't wait until that day. They say that one way to help yourself attain a goal is to visualize yourself attaining it. It definitely helps motivationally. Just thought I'd share with you all my wonderful dream!

Feeling down...

So I have been having an emotionally rough couple of weeks. Lately it feels like the only thing I have control over is my WW program. I think that that is what my problem was to begin with. I was feeling out of control and the only thing I could control was what I put into my mouth. So that is why I put whatever I wanted into my mouth and gained weight because of it. It made me feel better at the time, but eventually made me feel a lot worse.

Now I still control what goes into my mouth but it is now stuff that I want to eat because it will give me energy and help me to continue to succeed in my weight loss. It makes me feel good while I'm eating because I am being healthy and I still feel good after because I'm sticking to my plan.

My issues are not food anymore and they probably never were just about food. I am having interpersonal problems. People lately are just so judgmental and sometimes just downright unfair. It really gets me down because there's nothing I can do to fix it. It is really their problems, but they are taking it out on me. At least I can look on the bright side and see that it's not effecting so badly that I have given up on my weight loss. I missed last week’s meeting because I was at my parents and didn't wake up in time to get to the meeting over there. So my last weigh in this Sunday was for two weeks and I lost 4.6 pounds, making my total weight loss since joining Weight Watchers 41 pounds. Not too bad! And I will end this post on that good note!

Rough week 16

This week was definately a tough one. I'm not sure why but I just felt awkward the whole week. I had run out of the WW 1 point mini bars and found a less than favorable evening snack replacement. I paid the price though. This week I gained 0.8 pounds. It was very upsetting! I told my WW buddy and she reasoned that I'm getting to the point were I may stop losing fat and start gaining muscle, but I don't feel like that's what's going on here. I feel like I really fell off track here, with my workouts and tracking. I tracked alright when I was at work but after work that was a whole different story.

But today is a new day! I have started a 9 week challenge with the rest of my WW meeting folks. We are challenging ourselves to workout 5 days a week for the next 9 weeks until the new year. Our leader gave us 9 paper clips and every week if we met the challenge then we get to keep our paper clip, if we don't than one gets taken away. Hopefully I will have all 9 of mine. If this week counted I would have lost a paper clip. I am determined to have all of my paper clips come the new year! This is a great challenge and definately a great motivator.

This week was also my 16th week with WW. I got my stay and succeed award and added it to my key chain. Next week I will definately do better!

Whoot Whoot!

Wowsers! I lost 3 lbs this week! (LOL a friend of mine says wowsers a lot I guess it is catching) I am so excited I made it past Halloween and My Fiance, Mike's birthday. It was difficult but I was able to stay away from chocolate and lollipops and cookies and pie and cake!! OMG there was a lot of temptation. I did give into one temptation though. I had a homemade samosa one of my co-workers made for our monthly potluck. She is an amazing cook and I couldn't resist one. I looked it up and they are only 3 points each, so that's not so bad although I did get the evil eye from my WW buddy. Thanks Sue for watching my back! We went out to my favorite mexican restaurant, La Pinata for Mike's Birthday. Before I started WW I would have bought the New Mexico Cheese Enchiladas. That is two cheese enchiladas, two eggs on top of it, rice and beans, so good but hella bad!! I have also been really craving Nachos!! Instead I got something called the Joyce Special, which is Tilapia and shrimp surrounded with veggies and avocado. It was delicious and only about 9 points! Crazy good for a restaurant meal!

I made a conscious effort to get in my daily walk during my lunch when I could. I even went by myself a couple of days. I keep saying every week that I am going to take it up a notch with my work outs and it is the same song this week. I am planning on working out at least 3 times this week after work and the way I am going to make sure I do it is to actually put it in my planner plus I am going to create a calendar reminder in my phone.

I took my first picture where I can actually see the difference in my face from my weight loss. It feels great! I've posted it everywhere, my facebook, myspace, my blog... I love it, I'm actually proud of the way I look in a picture, I haven't felt that way in a long time.

ONE POUND

So this week I lost exactly one pound. I was slightly disappointing because every Sunday morning before I weigh in at Weight Watchers I weigh in on the Wii Fit. The Wii Fit said that I lost 2 pounds, so I was surprised when the WW scale said just one, but hey I still think that that is pretty good since I still lost and I ate out twice that week ;D A co-worker had shown me a picture before of one pound of fat; it was disgusting and surprisingly big. So I searched for one pound of fat and I learned that in order to lose one pound in one you need to have a deficit of 3500 calories. That’s a deficit of 500 calories per day, which means I burned 500 more calories than I ate per day. That is not bad at all! I actually am amazed that I am continuing to lose weight on a consistent basis. In my search I also found some nasty pictures of one pound of fat, enjoy!

More Puppy Sweaters!

I just wanted to post these pictures because I think dogs in sweaters are just too cute! I made these both in the past weeks. The blue one is on my Fiance's Mom's Maltese, Bindy. Sadly she is a little too big for it so it looks like that might be another sweater for Puppy. The green one is on my doggy model Hugo. I like to think of that as his army fatigue sweater. It has made me ambitious to learn how to knit more advanced things because I would eventually like to make him a USA sweater and maybe even a Philipines and Kenya sweater! :)

Rejoice in the Little Victories!

It didn't click Sunday as I weighed in, having lost 2.4 pounds! I was just so excited about losing so much I didn't put much thought into my total loss. As of yesterday I have lost 15% of my weight since I first started WW. I know it's not the usual 5% or 10% that everyone normally makes a big hoopla about, but after achieving those goals I had to set new ones. So I decided that my next goals would be 15% and 20% and I've made it to my next goal!! So my next goal is 20%, after that I think I will have to schedule a meeting with my leader to see what my next goal should be. I'm not ready to choose my lifetime goal, but for me it's all about the baby steps.

I keep telling myself that I am going to measure myself so I can see the difference in more ways besides just my weight, but something always comes up. I did measure myself about one week into the program so when I finally do get to it I'm sure I will see a big difference!

Working Out Lingo

Wow I can already feel my arms getting sore and I just finished working out. My Fiancé and I have started using these new workout DVDs that are eXtreme. They are from the P90X series. It is the step up from the original Power 90 DVDs that we started on. We did the Shoulders and Arms strength training workout. The premise is that if you stick with the workouts for 90 days you will see extreme results and boy do I believe it. My butt is sore from the Kempo Karate P90X workout that we did yesterday. There were lots of kicks! The guy in the picture to the left is Tony Horton the Power 90 leader, he is super ripped and in shape and he's 52! He's double my age and I have a hard time keeping up with him!

I can't wait to start seeing real results. I know that I'm losing because a lot of my clothes are feeling loose but I still don't see it in the mirror. I've heard that that happens with a lot of people. I'm not discouraged though because I feel like I have a ton more energy. Maybe its time for some comparison pictures? I took some a week or two after I started WW. You can see those on a previous post.

As I browse the weight watchers website I've noticed that there are several shorthands that people are using in their blogs and in the message boards. Sometimes it takes me a second to understand, "what the heck are they talking about?" But then it comes to me. Here are just a couple of the weight watchers acronyms that I have decoded:

WW = Weight Watchers (obviously I knew that one)
OP = On Plan
WI = Weigh In
BLTs = Bites, Licks, & Tastes (which add up to points!)

Does anyone else know of any other abbreviations or acronyms that are used on e-tools or in your meetings or just in general health and exercise discussion? Post them in the comments I'd love to add more to my personal WW dictionary!

Shake, Rattle, and Roll!

Last night I was very proud of myself, we normally take Tuesdays off from working out, but I was feeling like I needed a little exercise. So I started doing a little walking routine that I saw in the WW magazine. Walk 3 minutes then jog 1 minute and repeat 7 times for a quick 28 minute workout. It was the day 1 week 1 workout for a 6 week jogging routine. Afterwards I sat down on the ground because I was feeling a little dizzy; I needed to stretch, and to play with Hugo my puppy. I was a little rattled and I thought maybe I hadn't had enough water that day. My Fiancé Mike looked up at me and asked, "Did you feel that? We just hand an earthquake!" I didn't believe him at first because Hugo was just rolling around on the ground like nothing was wrong and I thought that dogs had a sixth sense about nature. Maybe he's too young and he hasn't gotten that nature awareness instinct yet... It turns out Mike was right there was a 3.7 earthquake centered in a neighboring town! I knew I wasn't dehydrated! I was freaked out for nothing. I just thought that was a funny little anecdote I’d share with you all!

Don’t forget to drink your 6-8 glasses of water!

Beds n Sweaters

I am still on a doggy craft rampage! I knitted a sweater for my new puppy, you can see pictures below in my previous post. I also knitted one for his cousin, my sister’s dog, Puppy (that’s his name, Puppy). I made another doggy bed for him too. That pet bed was made out of an old hoodie sweater. I love making things out of things, recycling and keeping old clothes out of landfills. After that I made another pet bed for the cats and my dog whoever gets into it first. I’ll have to make more because I’m pretty sure that my cat Roxy and Hugo, my puppy, both want to sleep in it. If I get good enough I may make more for my pet loving friends and family for Christmas presents.

On the Top Right: Roxy in my 3rd pet bed ever.
Below: Puppy in my 2nd Pet bed made from a hoodie sweater wearing a sweater I knitted.

30 Pounds Lost! Still need to get my workout on!

I weighed in today and I have lost a total of 30 pounds! It is totally amazing. I never thought I could make it so far. I am super proud of myself so I just wanted to give myself a little pat on the back. I have to say that the weight watchers website has really helped me with my journey. From using the tracker to finding healthy recipes to the great community and message boards the e-tools are a godsend!

This week my goal is to work out at least 6 times. Last week that was my goal as well however I didn't quite make it, but I plan to this time, starting today! It is cold out so I plan to stay indoors and workout to get my blood flowing and warm up. Once I've warmed up maybe we'll venture outdoors. Does anyone have a favorite workout tape or general workout? I'd love any and all suggestions!

Rough Start

Today was a slow starting day. I feel kinda like I am moving in slow motion. I was late to work and I have a feeling kinda like I'm lost in the pit of my stomach. I just ate my normal oatmeal for breakfast and it wasn't bad. i used to eat oatmeal every day until I got sick of it so I started eating cereal and then just skipping breakfast, but now that I'm on WW I am back on the oatmeal. I hope I don't get sick of it again.

Yesterday my friend and I were talking about cheese and that is my number one craving and weakness. As I was telling her that I can't have cheese at all because I can't control myself around it I was envisioning a giant block of extra sharp cheddar. I could see myself just taking a giant bite right out of the block. It is times like that that I am glad I don't have any cheese in the house. I probably would have gone home and taken a giant bite out of the cheese if I had any. I really love cheese. I can't be trusted in a room alone with cheese!

Slow and Steady Wins the Race!

I weighed in today after two weeks. I couldn't weigh in last saturday because I went to the American Diabetes Association Step Out Against Diabetes Run/Walk. It was fun.

Waiting to get started

Step Out Against Diabetes

At the starting line

Step Out Against Diabetes

So I lost 3.4 pounds at my weigh in today! Pretty good I think. That brings it to a total of exactly 29 pounds lost. They are gone. I don't know where they went but I don't ever want to find them. This week my goal is to work harder at working out at least 5 days. I haven't been doing so good the past two weeks thats why I was a little surprised I lost. Our routine has been thrown off a little bit because we got a dog. He is so cute I hate leaving him. I can't wait until he is big enough to go on walks that will be a great workout motivator.

Three songs I currently am playing while working out:

  • Jerimih - I'm A Star
  • Mary Mary - Boom
  • Lady Gaga - Just Dance
I think every time I post I will let you all know what is in my current playlist.

Puppies

I have been on a dog sweater rampage! I made one very simple dog sweater to the newest addition to my family, Hugo. A teeny tiny chihuahua. He should still grow, but I don't think he will be very big. I also made him a doggy bed out of an old thermal sweater. It is small but it fits him perfectly. He loves it. We have a play pen and a crate for him that we have set up to protect him from the cats and help us when we can't watch him. He used to always sleep in his crate even though there were pillows and blankets in there, but now he only sleeps in the bed I made. He is so precious! Here are some pictures.

Busy Busy!

September 9, 2009

Over the past two weeks a lot has happened. Last time I wrote we were going to Lake Del Valle. It was fun we canoed for an hour and a half straight. After that we were done because it was hot and we were sore.
We got a doggy. He is a super cute Chihuahua. He was only 8 weeks when we got him. His name is Hugo. I knitted him a sweater that I will be posting pictures up on my craft blog, westcoastcrafty510.blogspot.com. Check it out!
At my most recent weight in I lost 4.8 pounds! I think I again owe this to my fiancé. Not for the normal reason of him pushing me and keeping me on track though, but because he was away on training for a whole week. Running a household by yourself, no matter how small it is, is a lot of work. Especially if you are used to having someone else help you. Plus we got a dog and that is like taking care of a newborn baby, pooping and peeing. We almost have him trained though. So that added to my duties. Playing with the puppy, doing a ton of laundry, cleaning the house, and caring for the animals by myself for that week must have gotten my metabolism going and helped me loose.
I had said I would list my top ten favorite workout songs. I will have to think about it and post the list later.

Exercise!

Hey Folks! So I had a pretty decent weigh in on Sunday. I lost a total of 3.6 pounds. That brought me up to a grand total of 20.2 pounds lost! I feel like I am right on track. I have lost more than the recommended 2 pounds per week, but I don't feel like I am losing out of control. I owe a lot of my success to my fiance because he is my motivator and he keeps me exercising. We have been trying out new exercises since the start of our weight loss journey. We were working out 6 days a week, but this week is our vacation so we haven't been as good. Here are some of the exercises I have been doing.

  • Playing Catch with a Baseball (I got my first mitt)
  • Passing Drills with a Soccer Ball
  • Walking/Jogging Around the Lake or Track
  • Playing Tennis (or at least trying to play)
  • Power 90 Workout DVD (we tried P90X, hella hard!)
  • Yoga
We have gotten into the routine of doing the Power 90 workout and then going to the track. I will usually walk half a lap then jog half a lap and repeat that for 6 to 8 laps, 1.5-2 miles. Mike usually runs that 1.5-2 miles and laps me a couple of times. I don't mind as long as I have my iPod. I have a great Workout Playlist. My current workout favorite songs are anything by Lady Gaga. She wouldn't normally be my favorite musician, but she has some great pump you up music. Next time I will post my top ten workout songs. We will be going to Lake Del Valle in Livermore today to canoe or row a boat. Maybe we'll even ride horses.

During my normal weight loss browsing I found two interesting things. After writing about Men Vs. Women weight loss I found this book by Weight Watchers called She Loses, He Loses: The Truth about Men, Women, and Weight Loss. I ordered it on Amazon and I should get it early next week. I will review it for you once I'm done with it. The other interesting thing was a handy little thing called a snack widget. You put into it what you are craving and it suggest better alternatives. I tried to embed it here but for some reason it doesn't like the code so click here or go to snackwidget.com

Well I hope you see less of me next time (my weight watchers leader always says, I hope to see less of you all next week!)

Keeping the ball rolling

Or should I say keeping the fat rolling off of me. Last week I wasn't able to post my weight loss because I had an eye infection and I couldn't even look at a computer. I am better, not 100% but better.

SO last week I lost a total of 3 pounds!! That brings me to a weight loss of 16.6 pounds since I started weight watchers. If I don't say so myself that is pretty darn good. My fiance Mike is also losing weight. He at first was counting points and tracking what he ate, but since he is such a tall guy he had a lot of extra points that he wasn't eating at the end of everyday. so he stopped counting and tracking and he's still losing weight. Lucky men, they always lose weight way faster then us women. It is true! I did a little research and here are some of the reasons that men lose weight faster than women.

  • They have naturally faster metabolisms: The truth is that men have evolutionarily more muscle than women and muscle burns fat. The more muscle the more fat burned. They don't even have to do any work, with more muscle you burn more calories while at rest.
  • Women have a disadvantage. They have a tendency to store more fat because of a wonderful little horomone called estrogen. It all goes back to those caveman breeder days, estrogen keeps women from losing fat so that they can more easily get pregnant.
  • Women also have smaller lungs than men. This can make the same workout for a man harder for a woman.
  • Men have less body fat than women. Men don't have huge globes of fat growing out of their chest. Well some may... but with a man and a woman that are both at around the same weight and physical fitness, the woman is going to have a higher % of body fat. In women the normal body fat % is 25% while in a man it is anywhere between 18 and 22%.
  • Where our fat is stored is also a big factor. Men mostly store the fat they gain around organs, which can be dangerous for things such as heart disease, however that fat is easier to lose. Women's fat is normally store subcutaneously, which means under the skin. One word, Cellulite! This type of fat can be harder to lose.
But this is not an excuse to just give up and say I'll never lose as much as Mr. Boyfriend, or Mr. Husband! This is just to let you women out there know. You are not alone and it's not all your fault! Don't let it get you down! I won't! I will be going in to Weight Watchers in about 30 min to weigh in. Lets see how much weight I lost since last week. Wish me luck!

Step Out Against Diabetes

On the 27th of September I will be participating in the Step Out Against Diabetes Walk-A-Thon. I will be joining more than 100,000 fellow walkers from across the country in this year's Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes to raise money for the American Diabetes Association.

I will be gathering donations and walking to help stop diabetes. I am walking as a part of the weight watchers team.

I am asking for your help. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Diabetes Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin. Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life. The cause of diabetes continues to be a mystery, although both genetics and environmental factors appear to play roles. There are 23.6 million Americans living with diabetes, a disease that is outpacing heart disease, cancer and AIDS. If we don't act now, one in three children born in the year 2000 will develop diabetes in their lifetime.

I believe that my participation in this year's Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes can and will make a difference. Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes is one of the American Diabetes Association's biggest fundraisers. With the help of people like you, the American Diabetes Association can raise over $20 million to help stop diabetes.

Please help me reach my goal by supporting me for this year's Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes. Please click on the picture below to go to my personal Web page to make a secure, 100% tax deductible donation. You can also go to diabetes.org/stepout and search for me by name, Antoinette Roberts, or by team, weight watchers, and then find me. (If you do not want to donate online, please make your check payable to the American Diabetes Association and mail your contribution to me at 1701 Harbor Bay Parkway Suite 100, Alameda, Ca 94502.)

Together we can stop diabetes. One step at a time.

The County Fair and Pants

This Friday I had the first major test of my weight loss progress. The San Mateo County Fair!! At those types of event I normally can't leave without buying a big bag of kettle corn. I thought about not going at all, but I can't live my life hiding from everything tasty so I prepared for it, plus Boys II Men was also playing. It just so happened that weight watchers has a telepathic connection with me because there was an article about summer weight loss danger zones which included fairs. It had a listing of common fair foods and their point values. Some of them were shocking, like the turkey leg it is 27 points and the funnel cake, one of my amusement park weaknesses, is 12 points and I don't think that includes the strawberries and syrup that is normally on it. I printed out the list to keep on me at the fair. So as I was wandering around the fair smelling all the yummy smells I just pulled out my points list and repeated to myself, "it is not worth going over my daily points." I also brought some low calorie snacks with me, like the weight watchers cheddar twists. Sadly when we got there the auditorium was already full so the fire marshal wouldn't let anyone else in. We didn't see Boys II Men. We did get to see the pig races though.

San Mateo County Fair me

I weighed in on Sunday and I lost another 2.8 pounds! Mike, my fiance, was so proud he bought me a present. It is a fancy water bottle and holder it also has places for my iPod, cell, and keys. It is awesome. I was tired of putting all that stuff in my bra. Have you ever noticed that women's workout pants rarely have any pockets, or at least the ones I have don't. You could always wear those swishy pants but then you make that swishing noise everywhere you go and there is the risk of starting a fire. Plus whenever I try to put my cell, iPod, and keys in the pocket, it's all so heavy that they start to sag. So basically I prefer the curve hugging stretchy pants or sweats and thats why all my paraphernalia ends up in my bra. Thanks to Mike I don't have that problem anymore.

The beginning

I began my most recent weight loss journey four weeks ago, since then I have lost 10.8 pounds. I started the weight watchers program on July 19th after hearing about the success one of my co-workers had had on the program before her wedding. I'm getting married in almost exactly one year and I hope to be healthier and in better physical shape than I am now by then. The co-worker I mentioned before has also started Weight Watchers back up and another co-worker has also joined. One of their key mottos is to track things. You track your food intake, you track your weight. They even suggest tracking your measurements and clothes sizes. I'm am tracking using their e-tools website and going to weekly meetings. I also want to track the differences in my physical appearance. I searched my computer and phone to find a good "Before" photo, but I realized that I don't have a single picture that is more than the shoulders up. So below there is the most recent picture of me I had on my computer. It is from the fourth of July this year so I figure that's close enough.

July 4th, 2009

I had already started to make some changes. I knew I was overweight and I had started to be more conscious of it so I unconsciously had already started paying attention to what I was eating and maybe even losing some weight. Take a look at the difference between one month ago and in February of this year (See Picture Below).

0201091232

Tell me what you think, had there already been some weight loss? If not oh well there are two picture to compare as before photos. Keep coming back and you can see my progress.

I'm not ready to post my weight here yet, for the whole world to see, but probably once I lose more I'll spill the beans. I will tell you that I am very close to my first goal which is to lose 5% of my original weight from when I joined Weight Watchers. I have also been using the Nintendo Wii to weigh myself in between weekly weigh ins, From Sunday to Wednesday morning I lost 0.7 pounds. I have to celebrate the little victories! I'd like to loose at least 2 pounds a week. That means I should reach my goal weight in about 41 weeks, that is just enough time to buy a wedding dress. If you are smart and good at math you can probably figure out how much I weigh with all the information I gave you, and you thought you'd never use algebra in real life! LOL! Well I hope you see less of me next time!

Craft Hiatus

I have been on a temporary crafting hiatus because of the recent move. We moved from Oakland to Fremont and I have been so busy with the move and decorating that I haven't had a chance to finish any projects. I just restarted finishing my first knuckle glove. So far I think it will just be one hand.

I will post more pictures when they are finished.

Another one

Here are the pictures of the terrarium I made for my not-so-baby baby sister's 21st Birthday. I used fresh moss that I originally picked up a tiny bit of on a hike in Point Reyes stuck it in my parents yard and watered it. I don't think they even knew about it until I snatched some up for the terrarium.

Oh yea and I hand made the like Toadstool Super Mario looking Mushrooms. I think next time I will step outside of the mushroom box and try to make a butterfly or fairy or something cute that goes with plants.

Terrariums

Here are some pictures of two other terrariums that I made. The one in the cookie jar was my first one ever. It was very experimental. I am sad to say that some of the original plants didn't make it.

The one below is the one I made for my boss. She likes purples so I added purple tinted succulents.

I will upload the pictures of the one I made for my little sister's 21st birthday soon. Plus I will put up pictures of a purse I made my second purse ever. I gave my first one away and forgot to take a picture of it.

Ads

Hello! I just noticed that you can add ads to your blog and supposedly you can make money from it. I am all for making money. So go ahead click on an ad. We'll see how much i can start earning. Speaking of making money I am posting some pictures of some terrariums that I have made. I sold one to my boss and it is doing really well. I just hope it doesn't out grow it's tiny container too quickly. I am also planning on making some for presents. If you want one send me an email and we can work out design and prices. The one pictured is not the one I sold to my boss this is actually sitting on my desk at work. I will try to take pictures of the one I made for her and put them on my flickr account. For more pictures look on my flickr, WestCoastCrafty.

Here are some pictures of a Stuffed Patchwork Fish I made for my cats. It is 95% recycled material.I don't really know what percentage is recycled i just guessed the percent. LOL! The outside is made of old scrub tops. The stuffing is recycled scraps of cloth and scrub tops. I also used a ton of catnip. Stuffed it as much as I could with the cat nip I had available. The only non recycled materials are the thread to sew it and the catnip.

Handmade Pin Cushion

Hello again!
I will be slowly adding pictures of some of my crafty craftiness. Today I had some pictures of my first attempt at a pin cushion. I believe I got the pattern from BurdaStyle, a great website with sewing patterns, some for free and some for a small fee. But they have tons of free ones! I love Free! So this pin cushion is 90% recycled materials. The top and bottom are old scrub tops from when I worked at a Veterinary Hospital. They were given to me by a co-worker, FREE. The stuffing is scraps from those shirts after I ripped the seems, plus I also made a bag out those two shirts.. oH I  should take pictures of that too.. anyways the only non recycled things are the thread used to sew it, the yarn stretched around it, and the button in the center. However the yarn was left over from some baby booties I made so it is semi-recycled :)

Crafting is what I do

So it's not all I do, but I was doing several craft projects and I wanted a place to display and keep track of craft projects I do and give as presents. Because once their gone I don't get to look at them anymore :( So here is where I will be showing the world all the various crafts I do. I knit, sew, paint, make stuff with paper and other random stuff. So look forward to seeing my projects here.
